Reflective stitching needs someone else's light pointed straight at it. A light on the collar shows one small dot from one direction. Neither tells a driver how big your dog is or which way they're moving.

The LED follows the full perimeter of the harness, so your dog reads as a lit shape from the front, the side and behind.
